Men’s Bible Study – Peter

Many believe that Peter wrote his first epistle after Nero became the emperor in A.D. 64. The newly formed church faced more persecution than ever, and Peter wrote this letter to give Christians a divine perspective on their trials. How do believers in Jesus endure suffering without wavering in their faith? We live in a spiritually hostile world, yet Jesus is our “living hope,” our “inheritance,” and our “protector.” (1:3-5) As we grow in the grace of God, we will learn to stand firm in the faith, no matter how difficult our circumstances in life.
