Why does prayer matter?

Prayer is a movement of the Holy Spirit and helps us know Jesus and His will for us. At Highland Park Baptist Church, we are a house of prayer. Together, we follow Jesus’s example of dependency on his Father and do these three things:

Worship God

Love One Another

Prayer Room

In Person

Our prayer room is centrally located off the Foyer near the Worship Center. It is available when the church is open for worship and scheduled prayer times during the week. There is an exterior door that is unlocked during the day where you may come and spend quiet time in prayer.

If you would like to use the prayer room during a specific time, please contact the prayer team.

Join us as we pray for, and encourage one another, from any mobile device.

  • To register: Fill out the registration form, which will be sent to the church. We will verify that you are part of our congregation and will email you a link to complete your registration and set up your password.
  • Once logged in from the app, click on a Group to enter. (Groups with a lock in the blue box are for subscribers of smaller groups within the church. If you are part of one of these groups, just click on the box and request permission to enter. The church will try to respond to you within one day).
  • Listen to prayers and record a 30-second prayer if you wish. Prayers remain on the app for only 24 hours and then are removed. They are not stored anywhere on the internet after 24 hours.
  • You can always re-record before publishing your prayer, and have the ability to remove the recording at any time by pressing the red X.
