Next Steps

Salvation

The Gospel is God’s true story of rescue and redemption, carried out by His Son, Jesus Christ.

God’s plan of glorious restoration was carried to completion through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Redemption is only possible through Him, and it’s only because He loves us that it can be made a reality in our lives.

Baptism

Being baptized is an important step of obedience as you grow in your relationship with Christ.

It is a public confession of surrender to Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life. Baptism is an important step in your journey of faith and is to be taken seriously, but it is NOT a means of gaining salvation or acceptance from God. Rather, He finds it pleasing as we respond in loving obedience.

Serve

We believe that God has uniquely gifted each person in order to point others back to His loving character.

We encourage all of our church members to seek out ways to volunteer within the church. Are you a people person? Do you sing or play an instrument? Even if you just love to pour a cup of coffee with a smile on your face, there’s a place for you to serve at HPBC.

Listed below are ways to get involved with our ministries.

First Impressions

What’s the first thing you do when inviting someone into your home? You greet them warmly at the door, help them get settled, and even give them a tour. Our building is our home, and we’re looking for outgoing people who love to extend hospitality and help our visitors feel right more than welcome. If this sounds like you, please contact Lisa.

Student Ministries

Our students are split between the Herd (Middle School) and the Crash (High School). Serving here involves pursuing these students in relational discipleship by leading a small group, going on retreats, and sometimes playing a little dodgeball. To learn how to start pouring into these kids lives please contact Gar.

Worship

Worshipping through song can help drive truth into the heart as we pour out our praise. At HPBC we work hard to provide moments of musical worship through many mediums. If you sing or play ANY instrument, be it flute or guitar, we can use your gifts. To volunteer or learn more please email Aaron.
