Defending the Faith: Answering Tough Biblical Questions and the Major Objections to Christianity
Teacher: Richard Ortland
South Atrium
While Grow Groups take a break from regular curriculum, we will be offering a summer elective apologetics class: Defending the Faith: Answering Tough Biblical Questions and the Major Objections to Christianity. As the title suggests, we will focus on addressing the arguments of critics and skeptics against Christianity. The class will start with a Bible overview (defending its inspiration, accuracy, and trustworthiness), then move to addressing specific questions and objections to Christianity such as: How can Jesus be the only way? How can a good God allow evil and suffering? Isn’t Christianity racist and sexist? The goal is to not only help you defend Christianity but help strengthen your faith as well.
All ages are welcome to attend.
